We’re not mutually exclusive

by Darren

It isn’t only members of the animal kingdom who can offer each other mutual benefits. We humans have got a role to play in this as well. Look at this little robin. It’s still winter – the buds are only starting to blossom on the bushes, and robin needs a hand ensuring there is enough food for the family. That’s where we come in, a tasty fat cake with seeds and insects hanging up on the tree and a clean dish of water can really help to ensure the health and survival of our garden birds. As for us? We get the pleasure of their company and the knowledge that we’ve done our bit in helping our native wildlife thrive at a difficult time of year.
