The midnight hour

by Darren

This is only the final section of a huge Jetty that must have been about half a mile long, on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi where I dived last year.  The image was taken in virtually pitch black conditions late at night, after an unproductive session in the sea with a tripod trying to do arty stuff with the waves.  And yes, it was virtually pitch black in there too!

At least we had lights when we stayed up late last night to work on improvements to the website.  We’ve kept the multi thumbnails approach so that you can select the images you’d like to see more of from a grid, but this just offers a bit more flexibility to make it more like a website and less like a blog.  A few tweaks today, then we’ll carry on adding images while we consider the next stage of development.
