The also-rans: Donald

This duck is feral rather than wild – it’s a farmed breed which occasionally escapes into the wild.  They’re typically thinner than those found on farms and you’ll often see them among a bunch of other mixed ducks (predominately mallard).

But the really interesting fact about the Pekin duck is that it’s the breed on which Walt Disney based Donald!
