Seals: Sleep well little one

Another image from Donna Nook – this was taken last year at a ridiculously early hour, just outside of the nursery where this pup had crawled.

It was early December so many of the pups had been weaned and were on their own, as this one was even though it still had much of it’s white fur.

There will be some more images tomorrow from that particular trip, but for tonight I thought I’d like to share this sleepy puppy. I like to get a different angle, and whiskers are always a great aspect to include in a picture, and even better in mono to enhance the contrast although black and white images tend to be commercially unattractive.

Anyway, more seals tomorrow and then maybe I’ll sort out some details for this year’s trip for those who would like to join me.
