Is Autumn coming?

It’s been a hot summer in Surrey – and I feel the heat more than most people. But in the past few days there’s been some rain, a massive thunder storm and Louise mentioned something about going to get a cardigan because she was cold (although she is a bit strange and feels cold all the time – even when I’m sitting in a t-shirt and shorts). Naturally a couple of days of poor weather has led people to ask whether that’s the end of the British summer and muttering that the nights will soon be drawing in.

So not long now until the great golden brown colours of autumn. Or it might just be a rainy day or two….
