Don’t look so worried little one
by Darren

The last of our Sulawesi Black Macaques for today. This was one of the youngest that I saw and perhaps the cutest. I was actually in Tangkoko National Park not to see the macaques but to trek to see the Tarsier, commonly known as the world’s smallest primate – although there is some debate about whether it is a primate or not. More on the tarsier tomorrow from our guest editor Dave from The Longest Way Home.
The black macaques were at the bottom of the hill and the tarsiers at the top. I was really lucky to have seen such a large group and I felt even luckier to have been able to capture so many of the family.
