We had Chas earlier – this must be his mate Dave then. Again this was taken at the Farne Islands and I think this photograph really captures both the beauty of the puffin in flight and the slight gawkiness of the experience. Presumably he’s off to find Dave for a bit of a song and dance. Or maybe he’s just looking for some sandeels – impressively he can hold up to 30 in his mouth at once. Whether or not he can still sing “rabbit, rabbit, yap yap rabbit” is not known ….
