A moment in bunny’s life

Sometimes when creating images of wildlife I know some of the back story or the history of the creature or area involved. And at other times everything is a complete mystery.

Like this gorgeous little rabbit and its damaged ear. Was it a fight? Was it an accident? Was it just born with a gammy ear? Photography allows us to capture a specific moment in the lives of our subjects – but it can never tell the full story. And actually, I quite like that – the natural world is full of mysteries and perhaps the way it should be.
