I walked, cycled and drove that road twice a day for 18 years. From childhood I was always amazed by the incredible shapes those starlings made. I remember countless discussions with my dad about how many there were and why they made those patterns. We never worked either thing out of course. The moors in autumn and winter are one of my favourite places on earth and you've captured the essence perfectly. Thank you for bringing back a wonderful memory with your picture.
